Keogh
A Keogh is a defined-benefit plan or defined-contribution plan which is established by a self employed individual for them and their employees. A Keogh usually accrues on a tax-deferred basis.
Kiting
Kiting when used in the context of finance, refers to the practice of depositing and drawing on checks at two or more banks and taking advantage of the time it takes for the second bank to collect funds from the first bank. Kiting can also be defined as illegally increasing the face value of a check by changing the printed amount of the check or financial instument.
